Deposit

A £50 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your wedding or occasion hair booking. This deposit is deductible from the final balance due. The deposit is non-transferrable.

Payment

Full payment is due no later than two weeks before your wedding day, or other booking. Payment can be made by bank transfer or cash and an invoice can be provided on request.

Trials

Trials are not compulsory, but are highly recommended. This allows us to work on a number of styles and ensure you know what you like ahead of the day itself.

On The Day

An arrival time will be agreed with you prior to the day of attendance. I will arrive promptly at the agreed time, or earlier where possible to allow time to set-up so services can be started on time. Whilst it is understood that circumstances can arise, please be ready to start at the agreed time to avoid any delay to the 'be ready' time, particularly if it is a multi-person booking. I do not accept any responsibility for issues arising due to lateness by the customer or people within their party.

The customer must provide a suitable area in which to work. This area should include access to power (plug socket) and a table (where possible). Please liaise with your venue to ensure that this is possible.

I allow 45 minutes to 1 hour per person for wedding and occasion styling.

For particularly large or time-sensitive bookings, an additional stylist may be in attendance.

Travel

Travel is charged at a rate of £0.50 per mile, from my home address to the destination. Additional travel or accommodation charges may apply for services being conducted long distances away or for starts at unusually unsociable hours. All costs will be discussed, quoted and agreed with the customer in advance.

Liability

I am fully insured to carry out hair styling services and my PLI can be provided upon request. Any relevant allergies must be reported to me at the time of booking. You hereby agree to release me from any liability owing to allergies not reported before services are conducted.

Photography

It is agreed that any photographs and videos that include me, me performing hairstyling services, or hair work which I have completed, can be used and repurposed for use by my business. This includes, but is not limited to, use on social media, my website and other relevant forms of business advertising and communication.

Amendments

There is no mimimum spend to book my services, but I reserve the right to not accept bookings based on availability, location or number of people.

Amendments can be made to your booking without charge up to 14 days before your wedding or occasion.

A reduction in number of people having hair for a booking, when made less than 14 days before your booking, will result in the full original balance being payable.

Cancellation

Cancellation by the customer

In the event of cancellation by the customer, the deposit will be retained by Louise Ashworth Hair. If a booking is cancelled within 14 days of the service date, a percentage of the total bill is payable:

14 days or less - 100% of total bill
15 to 28 days - 50% of total bill
More than 28 days - Deposit only

Should I find myself in the unlikely situation that I cannot fulfil the booking due to injury, illness, personal emergency, or other reasonable circumstances, I will seek a trusted a suitable replacement stylist for your wedding or occasion. You will always be contacted at the earliest opportunity and kept informed in any circumstances. A replacement stylist cannot be guaranteed. If you do not wish to go ahead with any replacement stylist, you will receive a full refund.

For your peace of mind: I have never had to cancel a booking yet and don't intend to.
