An arrival time will be agreed with you prior to the day of attendance. I will arrive promptly at the agreed time, or earlier where possible to allow time to set-up so services can be started on time. Whilst it is understood that circumstances can arise, please be ready to start at the agreed time to avoid any delay to the 'be ready' time, particularly if it is a multi-person booking. I do not accept any responsibility for issues arising due to lateness by the customer or people within their party.
The customer must provide a suitable area in which to work. This area should include access to power (plug socket) and a table (where possible). Please liaise with your venue to ensure that this is possible.
I allow 45 minutes to 1 hour per person for wedding and occasion styling.
For particularly large or time-sensitive bookings, an additional stylist may be in attendance.
Your Hair
On the day, please have clean washed hair.
Wear something loose and stretchy, both for your comfort and so you can easily get changed without tight clothes dragging on your hair.
Don't put hair in bobbles or clips, as this can create unwanted kinks.
Don't go in the shower or a steamy room once your hair has been done, as this will affect the result. Be cautious of a hot bathroom!
Trials
Trials are not compulsory, but are highly recommended. This allows us to work on a number of styles and ensure you know what you like ahead of the day itself.
Deposit
A £50 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your wedding or occasion hair booking. This deposit is deductible from the final balance due. The deposit is non-transferrable.
Payment
Full payment is due no later than two weeks before your wedding day, or other booking. Payment can be made by bank transfer or cash and an invoice can be provided on request.
Travel
Travel is charged at the standard rate of £0.45 per mile, from my home address to the destination. Additional travel or accommodation charges may apply for services being conducted far away or for starts at unusually unsociable hours. All costs will be discussed, quoted and agreed with the customer in advance.
For overseas weddings, packages are available upon request.
Cancellation
In the event of cancellation by the customer, the deposit will be retained by Louise Ashworth Hair. If a booking is cancelled within 14 days of the service date, a percentage of the total bill is payable:
14 days or less - 100% of total bill 15 to 28 days - 50% of total bill More than 28 days - Deposit only
